"I can confidently play heaps of my favourite songs."

If you live in Sydney's western suburbs and have been looking for HOW or WHERE to start learning the guitar - you've found the best place.

Michael Essery teaches students of all ages from preschool children, to teenagers, to young adults like me, through to people in retirement (who get to practice for hours a day... I'm secretly jealous!)

I've only been attending 30 minute lessons, once a week for a little over a year - but I can confidently play heaps of my favourite songs. For this, I thank Michael because of his patience and motivation to keep me practicing throughout the week so I can get each skill/song ticked off my checklist.

That's another great thing - the checklists! The G4 Guitar Method (G4GM) helps you track your progress and stay focussed by breaking down learning the guitar into 7 separate skills and whipping it all into 6 tidy levels of checklists.

If you seriously want to play the guitar, call Michael TODAY - that's what I did this time last year... I look forward to jamming with you in our group sessions!

"I think your program is a fantastic, structured way to approach teaching guitar"

I have seen your G4 website a number of times and often wondered if you would allow me to use your program to teach new students.  I purchased your complete program package and have looked over each PDF document.  I think your program is a fantastic, structured way to approach teaching guitar and helps avoid that trap that most instructors get into of just "going with the flow".  No matter what the subject, students need to see what is happening, either good or back in regards to progress.  If they don't see progress - they lose the desire to continue because there is no more satisfaction.  And that is why they want to play music on guitar, specifically because they seek the "satisfaction" of hearing music they themselves can produce.   Randy Rios - Phoenix Arizona USA.

"originally skeptical about your website"

David,   I was originally skeptical about your website ...not believing that there was someone with so much talent and knowledge that was willing to share both so openly. Thank you for the opportunity to learn an instrument that I wanted to learn for many years, but never found the right direction. - Dale Brown - Florida USA.

"the G4 guitar program as it is well organised, has brilliant learning material to help re-enforce concepts"

"I have enjoyed learning guitar with Markus Bruun, my G4 guitar teacher. Markus is a good teacher, friendly, attentive, breaks things down to help you understand them, and is very patient. I am glad that I came across the G4 guitar program as it is well organised, has brilliant learning material to help re-inforce concepts and the help is never far away, via email or the G4 facebook group, all in all a great program to learn guitar. Thank you." - Leesa. (Newcastle NSW)
